When we recently moved, I was suffering more than the usual. I was told time and time again to try locally farmed honey. I was told that it would help relieve my allergy symptoms. I had never heard of it before, but hey.. what's it going to hurt.
I went to a local gas/ grocery store and pick up some honey farmed right there in town. Let me tell you, I am not (or was not) a fan of honey. I remember when I was a child my mother giving my honey and lemon juice to drink when I had a cold... I hated the stuff! LOL... I began taking one tablespoon in the morning and one in the evening. This locally grown honey is very sweet, and very taste... so I had no problems getting it down. After a few days, I realized that I was no longer suffering the runny nose and sinus drainage.
I have found out that there are some great benefits to consuming honey.
- Honey is a natural energy booster. Who knew that taking honey could give you that boost of energy you so needed.
- Honey is a great immunity builder. I found that if you take in locally farmed honey, it will help you build immunities to those allergens that bother you.
So, If you have allergies.. try honey. I never thought it would help... but I can say...I was wrong!

Honey is great for so many things. I eat a tiny drop of honey when I'm craving sweet. That's all it takes to get rid of my sweet tooth and saves me tons of calories.
Great information for allergy sufferers - my daughter and I being in this category.
