Who doesn’t love Jell-O? I know our family does!
I love this recipe I came up with for an easy snack that uses healthy ingredients.
If your a Trim Healthy Mama, this is a great FP recipe for your Fuel Cycle.
I do have a Lemon version at the bottom that is DEEP S Friendly!
I love Deep S foods!

1 cup of frozen strawberries ( any frozen berry)
3 cups cold water
1 ½ cup boiling water
3 TBS gelatin
2 TBS THM sweet blend
or 1/4 homemade sweet blend
In a blender, blend strawberries with 2 cups of cold water
( run through the mesh strainer for the seeds… if you feel the need )
In boiling water, dissolve gelatin and sweet blend… add it to your blended strawberries and rest of your water…
Pour into an 8x8 pan.
Place in fridge to set.

Place in fridge until firm.
Enjoy Ladies!
Thank you for sharing these recipes. They both look yummy. I'm a little confused though about why you say that the Lemon Jell-O is deep S. I don't see any fat in the recipe. Thanks for helping clear my confusion. ;)
ReplyDeleteOn Deep S days, we are not allowed any type of fruit, so you would not be able to eat the strawberry jello. YOU can have lemon juice on deep S days. I say its deep S because even though we love to focus on those natural and healthy fats, snacks don't always have to have them in it ( example the gluccie puddings). Does that make since?
ReplyDeleteLemon jello is just fine on Deep S days. :-) You wouldn't want to do the strawberry jello though...
DeleteAny way to make this besides using the THM product? Sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteThere is.. you can use any sweetener of choice, I use homemade Truvia or store bought Truvia. You can also us Knox Gelatin if that is all you have.
DeleteHave u ever used Stevia in the Raw? I use it all the time. I tried Truvia also Skinny Girl liquid drops, didnt like either one of those.
DeleteYummy! Gelatin link is not working for me; are you using Great Lakes Gelatin in the red can?
ReplyDeleteYes, I used the orangish red can of Great Lakes Gelatin... I fixed the links :)
DeleteIn the strawberry recipe it lists 3 cups of cold water but then in the directions it says 2 cups of cold water...
ReplyDeleteShannon add the other one cup left after you have used 2 cups to blend with your strawberries. ... to it.. Sorry for the confusion
DeleteI am having a hard time getting this to firm up. I followed the directions exactly and it's still just as liquid 3 days later. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what would make it not firm up.. but you might want to cut back the water to 2 cups cold and 1 1/2 boiling water...
DeleteI'm now not positive where you 918kiss
ReplyDeleteare getting your info, however good topic. I must spend a while studying more or figuring out more. Thank you for wonderful information I was searching for this info for my mission.
Thank you for the recipes. When my kiddos are sick they want Jello but I don't want them to have the sugar when they are fighting a cold. So, they usually ask for sugar free Jello, then I feel bad giving them the chemical yuckyness of "sugar free" gunk.
ReplyDeleteThus my excitement over your recipes!!!
Do you know if THM Baobab powder can be added to these Jell-O recipes? I'd love to add the extra boost.
