Creations from the Sewing Room

For Mother’s day, my husband gave me a new toy.

I am in love with it! Haha… Yes it’s the little things that bring my joy!

 

For those of you who might not know what this is … it’s a Brother’s embroidery machine.

Needless to say.. I have been enjoying my sewing room.

 

I have found my happy place when I am creating with this thing..

Mother’s day gifts

Every year, our church likes to give a little something to our  Mothers.

I always find myself wracking my mind for a gift idea.

Some mom’s like candies, some like candles, some like books… etc..

This year I decided to make them..

Sometimes you just have to do something Selfish

 

Sometimes YOU just have to do something SELFISH!

REALLY SELFISH….

like lock yourself in your room… and make something for yourself  .

I have a Pinterest board labeled SELFISH SEWING.

Its what the label says… selfish stuff for me, myself and I.

I loved this lunch bag that I came across a few years ago.

(Yes its been pinned for that long! )

I finally decided to do it!  Its very simple, easy to construct, with great instructions.

Now, I off to do something not so selfish!
